連獅子（日本の古典芸能・歌舞伎）の舞台に可憐に舞う、美しい蝶々は有名な春の虫です。Japanese insects

Spring… Butterflies.

Renjishi (a lion with a lion)

(Japanese classical performing arts and kabuki) and beautiful butterflies that dance are famous spring bugs.

鮮やかな色で彩られた蝶は、いかにも幽玄の世界に誘ってくれそうです。

夏…蛍。

徒然草（日本の古典文学）の中で、清少納言さんが書いています。

Summer. Hotaru.

In Tsurezuregusa (Japanese classical literature), Sei Shonagon wrote.

夏は夜が美しい。

蛍が一つ。二つ。

蛍が火を灯しながら、音もなく飛び違うのも美しい光景である。

と表現しています。

Night is beautiful in summer.

one hotaru. Two.

It is a beautiful sight that Hotaru lit the fire without sound and jumps in between.

大きな打ち上げ花火も素晴らしいですが、小さな命が懸命に生きている、その儚さも日本の幽玄の世界に誘ってくれます。

The big launching fireworks are great, but the fragment of the small life is also a very powerful world in Japan.

夏…。蝉の声。

奥の細道（日本の江戸文学・俳句・松尾芭蕉著）

閑かさや　岩にしみいる　蝉の声。

外国の方には、蝉の声は騒音に聞こえるかもしれません。

立石寺があまりにも静かで、アブラゼミの鳴き声が「染み入る」と感じた芭蕉さんだったのです。

Summer. the voice of cicada.

Oku no Narrow Road (Japanese literature, haiku, haiku, and Basho MATSUO)

the voice of cicada, the tongue of silence and the rock.

In foreign countries, cicada may sound noisy.

Risshaku-ji Temple was so quiet and Abrasemi’s sound was called ‘staining.’

私は、カナカナカナと鳴く茅蜩の声を聞くと

「あゝ、夏が終わってしまう。」

と悲しくなります。

I heard the sound of kanakana kaya

The summer will be over.’

And I’m sad.

秋…。

昔の人は、鈴虫を飼ってその鳴き方を楽しみました。

万葉集にも虫の声を読んだ歌があります。

Autumn…

In the past, people enjoyed the way to make the sound by keeping a bellow insect.

There is a poem that read insects in Manyoshu (Collection of Ten Thousand Leaves).

私が好きなのは、滝廉太郎さんの「秋の月」という歌曲です。

その歌に出てくる虫は、人の心が分かると言っています。

♫あゝなく虫も同じ心か？

　　　　　声もひそやか。🎶 

I like the song called “Autumn Moon” by Rentaro TAKI.

The insect in that song says that people understand the hearts of people.

♫ And the insects are the same mind, the same thing ♫

His voice was silent. 🎶

外国の方は、日本人の虫に対する考え方を不思議に思うことが多いようです。

It seems that foreign people often wonder how Japanese people think about insects.
